Afterward, our journey continues toward the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, about 19,000 squares meters long covered with 2,771 concrete slabs arranged in a grid pattern.
Once having crossed the famous Checkpoint Charlie border our guide will tell and show us how different East Germany was from West Germany. We will walk along with the remains of its Wall and will see a former Nazi Ministry which has become the Luftwaffe Museum, as well as the bunker where Hitler committed suicide.
Carrying on with our captivating tour we come across the Bebelplatz, the square where the Nazi book burning took place in 1933. Not forget to mention that we will also have a chance to admire the main attractive Plaza of Berlin, the Gendarmenmarkt. Its charm stands out for having two cathedrals in the same square.
