Description
This beautiful and cosy city is located on the banks of the Havel River. The German imperial family, led by Frederick the Great, chose it to transform into their own Versailles, building more than 30 palaces throughout their sovereignty. UNESCOdeclared Potsdama World Heritage Site in 1990.
This old fishing village enjoys a privileged natural environment, surrounded by rivers, lakes, and large green areas.
Participating in this tour you will visit, among other memorable places, the Sanssouci Gardens, as well as other places with high historical and attractive value. Additional Information
The city of Potsdam belongs to the state of Brandenburg, on the outskirts of Berlin, so you will need an ABC zone ticket.
During the tour, no palace will be visited inside since their entrances are to be paid.
This tour is closed from December to March.
