This tour will llow you to discover two fundamental areas of the city to understand the history of Madrid. In the first part of the tour you will meet the picturesque Barrio de las Letras(Literary Quarter), where all the great writers of the Golden Age lived (Miguel de Cervantes, Francisco de Quevedo, Calderón de la Barca, etc.). Among other places, you will visit the houses where Miguel de Cervantes and Lope de Vega lived or the monastery where Miguel de Cervantes was buried. All this accompanied by stories and anecdotes of the Golden Age geniuses.
In the second part of the tour you will visit the majestic Paseo del Prado. This elegant area of the city houses some of the most emblematic places of the city such as the Puerta de Alcalá, the Cibeles fountain, the Prado Museum or the Congress of Deputies. Without a doubt, this tour is an excellent way to discover the history of Madrid.
